First-timer Q&A: Why Electro UK is bringing 30 years of bespoke automation to Parkex 2026 Interview with Louisa Goddard, Sales Executive, Electro UK

1.This is your first time exhibiting at Parkex. What's drawn you to the show, and what are you hoping to achieve?

The exhibition has been highly recommended by existing clients and with car parking application being a large part of our 2025/26 sales strategy we feel it a must attend event. We are hoping for engagement with architects / designers, contractors, end users and partnership opportunities.

 

2.You're the sole UK provider of HTC Speedgates. For parking professionals who might not be familiar with this technology, what problems do these gates solve, and where do they work best?

Electro UK are the exclusive suppliers, installers and maintainers of HTC gates. They are a premium speedgate where reliability and longevity is paramount to ensure downtime and security is not compromised in high trafficked applications.  HTC Gates are the choice when failure is not an option

 

3. Your client list spans everything from football stadiums to airports to Network Rail. What's the common thread in the parking and access control challenges you're solving across such different sectors?

Site specific solutions are our focus as opposed to an off the shelf offering. We offer reliable and robust products that are also bespoke and unique in some scenarios with the support of our in house design team to fully support our clients demands.

 

4. Many parking operators are dealing with aging infrastructure and tighter budgets. How does your approach to bespoke solutions versus off-the-shelf systems factor into these commercial realities?

Our solutions are built to last and will reduce the overall unnecessary ongoing maintenance and call out costs against the lifespan of the product. We offer flexible payment solution such as lease to own / hire purchase to assist with restricted cashflows. Investing right once is far cheaper than repeatedly fixing the cheap choice

 

5. What should visitors to your stand at Parkex expect to see and learn? Are there any specific innovations or case studies you'll be showcasing?

We will be showcasing our HTC speedgate on stand to illustrate the smooth operational speed as well as the aesthetics. In addition we will illustrating on screen various case studies and design expertise we offer our wide range of clients.
