Anthony is a Deputy Director in the UK Department for Transport in charge of Traffic & Technology. This role encompasses traditional traffic management policy and regulation, involving things like street design, roadworks, parking and traffic signs. He is also exploring the potential for digitisation, data and new technology to improve the lot of all road users and to increase the efficiency and environmental performance of the country’s local and strategic road networks. Anthony’s team is currently developing the UK’s policy position on micromobility through national trials of e-scooters.
