Deputy Director of Joint Air Quality Unit (JAQU) Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra)

Laura is a Deputy Director in the DfT and Defra Joint Air Quality Unit. She leads on programme management for the implementation of the UK NO2 plan, working with local authorities, the DVLA and key stakeholders to improve air quality.

Laura has worked in DfT in a number of roles, including the Heathrow expansion programme and major rail projects. Before joining the Civil Service Laura worked as a project management consultant, working with a range of public and private sector clients in the energy, transport, housing and regeneration sectors.
